Bloomberry’s Jeju Island Casino Suspends Operations for 30 days
Philippine gambling operator Bloomberry Resorts Corporation announced previous today that its only overseas casino Jeju Sun, located on the South Korean Jeju Island, will be suspended for the one-month period. The suspension comes as a penalty imposed by the neighborhood gambling regulator CRD after a concluded research for the acts for the place’s previous managing team.
Bloomberry said in a filing to the philippine stock exchange that the investigation was concerned with the so-called ‘lvegas casino’ gaming tax payment practices, introduced by jeju sun’s previous owners and management wednesday.
The suspension system are going to be effective at the time of Monday, November 16 and it is slated to end on Tuesday, December 15. Bloomberry remarked that the venue are quite ready to be relaunched on December 16, appropriate with time for the upcoming holiday breaks tourist top. Jeju Sun happens to be being upgraded and will debut new and expanded facilities that are existing it reopens doorways for site visitors.
Bloomberry bought the casino through its South subsidiary that is korean Korea Co. Ltd. The venue was then rebranded Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino.
The gambling operator said in its filing that hotel operations wouldn’t be affected during the upcoming one-month casino suspension. Bloomberry also noted that it will use the one-month duration to finish the update and renovation associated with the casino floor and associated facilities, as well as the expansion associated with the ball space.Continue reading
